What a wet muddy day, but we made it as festive as we could, carols playing, fairy lights twinkling, elves peeping out trees, festive decorations and a big fire to warm the mince pies and mulled punch for the staff who braved the mud to join in the festive forest lunch🎅🏽🎄🔥 🥧🎄

I’m certainly awake on this fine and frosty Thursday 🧊 🥶 0.5 degrees in and -9 out 🧊 probably my most favourite three minutes spent in the pod 😅 especially with my little smashing ice helper 🧊😂

We all fully embraced the mud today…75 pairs of wellies all left the site unrecognisable…squelch squelch squelch 🥴

Fires🔥cooked bananas🍌a mud meal for all🍽️ & one tired,muddy bear having tested numerous obstacle courses,followed by mud pampering-no shortage of mud or worms🪱 today at @StThomMoreOLMAC thank you to such an incredible enthusiastic yr3 class who really got stuck in … the mud!

I like to think spring is on its way 🌷we have seen some blue sky this week and some sun☀️ but also a little too much mud, as glorious as it is, I’d like that golden ball in the sky to dry some of it up and shine for a few more hours a day 🙄😍

When you give her a crowbar and a rotten shed… she’s not doing badly for a couple of hours work 😅
