It was a significant day for Agriculture Republic and the farming community as we represented and protected the rights of the small farmers community of Punjab. I was present on behalf of Agriculture Republic as a key member of the newly constituted Chief Minister's 1/7

2/7 Provincial Committee of Experts on Resource Mobilisation that is examining and finalizing resource mobilization proposals for submission to the CM Punjab. Agriculture Republic Co-Founder and a farmer I helped the committee understand the challenges farmers are already facing

3/7 why it was prudent not to introduce any new taxes. Instead, we proposed to work closely with farmers to improve their yields & productivity while ensuring controlled rates for farming inputs and availability of natural resources to protect & ensure food security for Punjab.

4/7 We also proposed to connect all small farmers across Punjab to critical smart data powered digital agriculture through Digital Deras to help them cope with challenges like higher cost of production, #ClimateChange and poor market structure increase agricultural productivity.
