I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays. Every year, I try to get around to different parts of town, take a photograph of the Christmas Tree and then post it. This year, I went to TCU and photographed their tree.

These are not the best photos of the eclipse, but I did get a chance to capture it. I was in Johnson County, 18 miles south of my house.

Work is finishing up on Deco 969. Parking has been striped along Commerce, but the barricades have not been removed. However, I did walk along the sidewalk in front of the building. I captured this nice photo of the base of the building, complete with a couple of cyclists.

Yesterday, I gave a Downtown Tour to a group of Downtown residents. It was fun and we met in Sundance Square Plaza. Our walk was 3.75 miles.

I have an update on the Cattlemen's Steak House renovations. The metal canopy has been installed and the new cedar siding has been placed on the facade. Work is continuing on the patio on the north side of the building, & I photographed the rendering of the completed project.

Haltom's Jewelers is going out of business after 131 years. In memory of them, I'm posting two nighttime photos of the clock and the sign on the Knights of Pythias Castle Hall. Both photos were taken during the holidays.
