Our ongoing Neighborhood Walks series continued last night in the Lincoln Park–Five Points Neighborhood. Residents shared ideas to improve our city and ways they’re supporting their neighbors. It was a heartening reminder of community left me feeling inspired.

I was proud to attend the topping-off ceremony for IU Health’s new five-story hospital coming soon in Fort Wayne. Signing the final beam marked real progress and a stronger future for care in our city.

Smiles all around today. After being closed for years, the historic Mechanic Street Bridge is officially back open and it's better than ever. Now residents, trail users, and local businesses are reconnected to Swinney Park once again.

Becoming a firefighter isn't just a job. It’s a true calling to serve and protect. I was proud to welcome 20 new firefighters to the Fort Wayne Fire Department last night as they begin their commitment to our community.
