This study led by Romaine F. Johnson, MD MPH FACS of 96,415 children undergoing tonsillectomy found that the 5th, 50th, and 95th percentiles for bleeding were 1.17%, 1.97%, and 4.75%, respectively. Fantastic work from Antoine Eskander MD ScM, further demonstrating volume-outcome relationships in oncologic thyroid surgery. In this study, less than 40 cases per year (surgeon-level) was associated with lower DFS (and less than 18 even lower)
