Just arrived Madonna's "Into The Groove" was treated to a unique remix, courtesy of Lightspeed Discs in the mid 80s. Lightspeed was a US DJ only remix service, similar to the far more well know, Razormaid, Art Of Mix, Disconet, Hot Tracks etc services.

If you happened to be visiting our shop today, you may have heard us listening to this gem. Back in '85 fresh from the massive success of "Together In Electric Dreams" Philip Oakley THL and inventor of the Munich Sound Giorgio Moroder, released this classic.

"There Goes My Love Rocket Red". This morning, we bought a collection of beautiful autographed items, including this orig Christmas card sent by Sigue Sigue Sputnik, back in 1986. It's hand signed by all 5 (Martin, Tony, Chris, Neal & Ray) plus the very lovely Miss Yana Ya-Ya.

What a beautiful piece of 70s technology, a customer sold us this yesterday, ideal for spinning a few 45's on a Saturday afternoon. For those interested it's a Philips 22GF113/03E designed for Philips by Patrice Dupont. Amazed to find it works perfectly

"Have you heard the latest (You love you) Have you seen who just walked in (Vain vain vain vain)". This beautiful sleeve was issued for use on both the Canadian and USA 7" singles of Martin Fry brilliant "Vanity Kills" single. For some reason they are extremely scarce. Beautiful !

With another lockdown imminent, yesterday was a bit frantic in the shop. Several people dropped off quite large quantities of albums etc. Here's a corner of what came in. Our shop might be temporarily shutting again, but life goes on with mail order. Stay safe everyone.
