As promised last weekend, we have two more days of Lloyd Frankenberg (1907-1975)! Here's "The World Under the Limetree." Taken, as before, from The Stain of Circumstance: Selected Poems (1974).

For your Sunday, here's one last poem by Lloyd Frankenberg (1907-1975). Taken, as the others have been, from his 1974 selected, The Stain of Circumstance.

I just completed a fairly gigantic list of poet-translators whose work might be interesting, mainly for Forgotten Good Poems to take a look at. Looking back on it, this probably wasn't the best use of my time, but if anyone else wants to look, feel free to DM me.

Here's "Lost," by Margaret Haley (1906-?), taken from her 1937 collection, The Gardener Mind. According to the Yale Younger Poets anthology, little is known about her besides that she attended Bryn Mawr and supposedly moved to Caracas in the late '30s to write "suspense fiction."

Hey, friends. I'm here to tell you that we've come to the end of FGP. While this page will remain available indefinitely, I've run out of energy and resources to keep posting more forgotten poems. Many thanks to you all for your support over these (almost) four years. Be well.

Although I totally understand and respect the decision I will miss this wonderfully curated account, and I know I’m not alone. It’s been such a gift to this community.
