#LiDAR data allows us to create a detailed model of the earth’s surface, by allowing us to remove any tree cover and look at the topographical changes underneath. We can interpret this data to find unknown archaeology. Why not have a peruse of your local #NewForest area?

Ask a child what bats feed on and some will certainly say ’blood’! British bats are insect feeders, feeding mostly on midges, moths and beetles. A single pipistrelle bat can eat up to 3,000 insects in one night! #WildlifeWednesday #Halloween #Bats 🦇
