SHRILL CARDER BEE! We found one! This is Jacqui James, @camZoology researcher, working with farmers, Bumblebee Conservation Trust National Trust & RestPoll on the urgent conservation of this species (Bombus sylvarum), in the most threatened of its 5 surviving UK populations, south Somerset.

The bramble is almost finished flowering in Worcestershire. It provides so much nectar & pollen for 🐝🦋.

We've started harvesting & extracting our Summer 2024 honey. This batch is very pale & delicately flavoured. We extract every apiary separately so every batch of honey is unique 😊🐝
