Once again, Shell rejects our fair ask to become Paris-aligned. The board contradicts itself by saying it “believes” to be Paris-aligned and that a resolution supporting exactly that is “against shareholders' interests.'

In 2021, a Dutch court decided Shell must align its plans with the Paris climate agreement. Shell appealed; the hearings will begin on April 2, 2024 in The Hague.
