Our third gig in a week and last night it was the wonderful voice of ⁦Siobhan Miller⁩ at Nettlebed FC. She was ably accompanied by Charlie Stewart on fiddle and Innes White on guitar. The trio are now heading back to Scotland for the last four gigs of their tour.

It was difficult to get all the musicians on the stage for the encore at the Nettlebed FC 50th birthday celebration last night. Maddy Prior was a surprise late addition to the excellent line up. Paul Downes led the group in singing ‘I Want to see the Bright Lights Tonight’

‘Transform Me Then Into a Fish’ is a new album from Martin Carthy. It revisits and reinterprets many of the tracks on his eponymous debut album from 1965. We will be playing the classic Scarborough Fair on the Shire Folk Showcase on 30 July 9-11pm on ⁦Kennet Radio⁩
