FOBP have arranged and funded the installation and fitting of roller shutter doors on the toilet block opposite the Visitors Centre to enable volunteers to open them. For the first time in a long time, the toilets are open TODAY and will be again TOMORROW.

The shone on a wonderful Yorkshire Gala Day yesterday. Thank you to all our supporters who enjoyed the day. We have made a good profit and that will all go into improving the park. We could not put on these events without the support of an army of volunteers. Thank you.

FOBP volunteers are opening the Visitors Centre this Sun 18 Aug 10.30am till 3.30pm. Bacon butties, a sandwiches, homemade cakes, hot/cold drinks. At the Bandstand from 1pm, Linthwaite Brass Band are playing a wonderful selection of music to entertain you.

In conjunction with RSPCA Halifax & Kirklees, we held our annual Dog Show on 1 Sep. Higher Ground played on the Bandstand and were very much appreciated by those who came to listen. The catering van and gazebo kept everybody fed and watered.
