The students loved learning about this unique SUSTAINABLE community being built in our city. We were amazed at all of the planning that has gone into it. There are a lot of students in this class who hope to live there one day. (Their teacher too!)

Our grade 4’s have huge 💕- they want to make a difference in their community and their city. So many ideas about how to put together a winter clothing drive. We are excited to share that giving spirit with our school community and collect lots of warm clothes for Hope Mission

City Hall School Dr. Lila Fahlman Sch City of Edmonton EPSB @DAA_School Thank you for teaching us about the partnership between the city and the school to have a shared space for the community. We loved learning about how the idea for this partnership was sparked! We look forward to the possibly of an in person tour! 🤞

Election results are official. Sohi Saurus and I can't wait to introduce CHS students to Mayor-elect Amarjeet Sohi.

My CHS students will be watching this important event from their classrooms. Sohi Saurus is excited as well.

It was so great to meet our sister city class. We were so interested to know that they all were learning English as a Second Language and that they speak Spanish as a first language. We look forward to more meetings with our "buddy" class.

Can't wait to see how CHS students take on this challenge.

.Tracey Piot from Dr. Lila Fahlman Sch were motivated to learn how the @equalityYEG team works to remove barriers, amplify women's voices and support leaders. Their class thought leaders should be: respectful, loyal, empathetic, kind, intelligent, brave, helpful & inspirational.

A great start to our virtual City Hall School meetings in 2022! The grade 4’s loved learning about equity and WAVE - Women’s Advocacy Voice of Edmonton. We learned about some amazing female leaders who have used their voice to advocate for the well-being of others.

Grade 4’s were amazed with all of the amazing winter activities available in our city!

Grade 4 Tracey Piot from Dr. Lila Fahlman Sch were so lucky to spend a day IN PERSON at City Hall School this week. We have had virtual City Hall School sessions once a week since the start of the year, building the foundation for our day of excitement and discovery!

A huge thank you to Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) for picking us up at Dr. Lila Fahlman Sch and taking us to Blatchford and City Hall. Tracey Piot were so excited they chanted “City Hall, City Hall” and “ETS!!! ETS!!!”
