Akawui (QC) Canadian singer-songwriter originally from Chile of Mapuche Indigenous origins. Performing most often in Spanish, Akawui discovered a unique sound in Latin/alternative/urban music, fusing hip-hop, rock, some electronic music as well as sounds from around the world.

The Human Rights (Ontario) Established in 2007, this band is one of Toronto’s foremost Reggae bands. With a distinctively powerful two-man front line that seamlessly moves between modern roots reggae, lovers rock, soul, R&B and dancehall vibes.

Golosa La Orquesta (Chile) A conscientious and energetic message evoking landscapes and moments, celebrating the folklore of the southern cone of Latin America, fusing the strength of rock and the freedom of jazz, creating a variety of cultures.

Tabiba (Toronto) A relatively new,  multi-generational women’s drum and vocal ensemble made up of Arabic world music artists, that combines the colours and textures of their voices, traditions and inspirations to create music that heals - at once haunting, hopeful and beautiful.

Rumba de Bodas (Italy) Crafted from the boundless spirit of eight individuals united by a profound love for music and adventure, this ensemble has b the vibrant threads of Ska, Funk, Latin, and Afro rhythms into a harmonious blend that reverberates on every stage it graces.

Clefs of Moher is a local, high energy Celtic Irish music with jazz overtones by with jazzy overtones and symphonic, haunting ballads. A musical exploration of Tim Moher’s Irish roots, with stellar arrangements by Rick Hutt, all done to the beat of authentic Irish step-dancing.

Zar Ekectrik (Morocco) Anass Zine’s voice with Maghrebian influences, fused with Arthur Péneau’s deep, sultry voice, and Did Miosine brings it home and the culmination is explosive, creating a rich and generous sound, a fusion of the Maghreb, sub-Saharan Africa & the West.

CONEXION LATINA (Central/South America/Local) A Latin dance music group consisting of an exciting blending of Salsa, Cumbria and Bachata. The fusion of their diverse cultures gives Conexión Latina an eclectic flavour you won't find anywhere else.

Afro Andean Funk (Peru/NYC) Based in NYC, Afro-Andean Funk is a Peruvian-American band nominated for a Latin Grammy. Their music breaks cultural barriers - creating a fusion of traditional Andean music, the Afro-Peruvian scene blended with funk, rock, and West African rhythms.

Defmaa Maadef (Senegal) The thrilling sound of two rising stars of Senegalese hip hop - Mamy Victory and Defa. Their coming together has shaken up Dakar’s music scene, sparking a wave of interest and excitement in this collaboration - hip-hop deeply rooted in Senegalese culture.
