The whole🧵and related comments are worth reading if you design (modular) monoliths and feel like an imposter in an ecosystem where “fullstack” designers/developers democratically break a single problem into microservices so that it becomes everyone's problem.

😢 R.I.P. Fred Brooks was the author of "The Mythical Man Month" a book that was hugely influential on so many of us. Also his paper "No Silver Bullet" would be on most people's shortlist of most influential papers.
