JUST IN: A crane collapse on Merritt Island (Brevard County) killed two construction workers today. A 58 MPH wind gust during a thunderstorm was recorded around the time of the collapse.

BREAKING NEWS: Two construction workers died following a crane collapse around 2pm at 255 Borman Drive in Merritt Island. The crane was over the unfinished Cape Canaveral Hospital. The identities of the victims have not been released. Tune in to Spectrum News 13 at 5pm for live updates
