JNIM confirms in a communiqué the release of Soumaila Cissé against 206 JNIM members (no mention of Sophie Petronin). JNIM also calls for more of such actions as the benefits are greater than many smaller operations.

Finally, what we’ve all been waiting for: the first official confirmation of the liberation of opposition leader Soumaila Cissé and French humanitarian Sophie Petronin. They should be welcomed in Bamako very soon!
