This week, we attended the Flood & Coast event by CIWEM, where topics such as innovation, ECI and social value were discussed. Jim Hutchison, Sector Director for our Regional Civils business, received the People's Award at Flood & Coast Awards dinner for his dedication.

It was great to have MPs Lee Pitcher MP, Dr. Julia Buckley & Shaun Davies MP at #FloodandCoast25! Lee highlighted the important role of APPGs in driving policy change. Julia and Shaun shared updated on addressing flooding issues in the local constituencies of Shrewsbury & Telford.

An early warning app for groundwater flooding highly commended at the Flood & Coast Excellence Awards. The app, which focuses on 7 vulnerable communities on the chalk aquifer across the South of England, is currently being trialed. More info: app.projectgroundwater.co.uk/communities
