Boiling frog. In the street down from our lane less and less than two km from the CBD. Two dead trees, but then gums are holding on. Most of this area is reclaimed wetland. Trees are re shooting. Plants don't lie. No rain for six months.

I'm guessing here the Sancerre vintage had a hot run. Seems pretty alcoholic with an attendant lack of fresh fruit lift. Says 13.5% but could mean anything. Maybe they struggled to get it off quickly but well made. AUD$80.
