One of the defining features of the Florida Boys State experience is the ability to use the Capitol Building for our legislative sessions! Our program is honored to use the Senate and House chambers, as well as two committee rooms and the Executive Cabinet chambers 🏛️ #FALBS

The Boys State Supreme Court heard the opening arguments in the Michael T. v Florida American Legion Boys State in a death penalty case. The justices and two parties were able to hold their hearing in the actual Florida Supreme Court Chambers. 👨‍⚖️ #FALBS

The executive branch of Florida American Legion Boys State held their annual memorial ceremony, taking the time to recognize those who sacrificed everything in service to their country. Their legacies live in our hearts and our minds. #FALBS

As we end our 81st session, we would like to recognize the amazing Florida Highway Patrol Troopers who serve as our security counselors. We are extremely grateful for their service to our program and the value they bring to the table 🏅 FHP Tallahassee FHP Panhandle #FALBS

We started our morning with our Boys State Memorial Service led by our chaplain, assistant chaplain, and legacy counselor Palmer Williams. Our service is an integral component of our program and ensures we never forget those who fell in service to our country. #FALBS

Assembly Bill 101 has been signed into law, which established June 20th as Terry Day! This day will recognize the achievements of the 80th governor of Florida Boys State 📆 #FALBS

The newly created RaleighLivingstone Government Solutions, otherwise known as “The Firm”, works on behalf of the Governor to ensure coordination between branches. Their work is crucial to the implementation of the Governor’s agenda #FALBS
