People need to realize quickly that this battle between CUPE and the government is NOT about CUPE getting it’s ideal contract. It’s about labour rights. It’s about the right to protest, the right to associate, the right not to be legislated into servitude. This is serious.

Every one of us should be angry that one of Ontario’s largest children’s hospitals has had to call in the Red Cross to help with staffing. Every one of us should be demanding that our government immediately invest more resources into our healthcare system. Every one of us.
