Before & After pictures of work carried out by our West Team Rangers at Loft Beck. The beck had washed out the path and a large retaining wall. The pictures don't really show the scale as the stones in the wall are the size of a large suitcase and moved with a mechanical winch!

A big thank you to the BMC volunteers who joined our Fix the Fells Rangers and Volunteers for an action packed two days of fell fixing in Langdale recently. The weather was kind and we got a good stretch of path repaired up towards Bow Fell.

We're back on Loughrigg again today, repairing the footpath from the Terrace up to the summit...

Last weekend our annual mass volunteering event took place on the Band, Langdales. A HUGE thank you to our Volunteers, LDNPA Young Rangers, the National Trust for Scotland and volunteers from Amey who joined our Rangers for three days of amazing fell fixing.

Our Central & Eastern Fix the Fells Rangers were on Gowbarrow today grading the sides of a path affected by erosion.

Our West Team Fix the Fells Rangers and Volunteers were out at Loft Beck yesterday carrying essential path maintenance on our upland paths. Path maintenance is an essential part of the work of Fix the Fells.
