Fiji is now under a tsunami threat. Tsunami waves between 0.3m-1m are forecast for low lying shores of Fiji as well as strong currents and surges. Remember, tsunami waves do not need to be high to be hazardous as they are very strong and move rapidly.

The second session of the #BBNJ PrepCom opened today at UNHQ. Over the next two weeks, delegations will continue their critical discussions to prepare for the entry into force of the Agreement and the first BBNJ Conference of the Parties.
