First Tee-GWDC recently hosted its annual Teen Summit during Spring Break at the AWS Skills Center. This one-day session engaged participants in workshops on entrepreneaurship, career preparation, leadership lessons and more. We're #buildinggamechangers!

As part of its community outreach efforts, First Tee-GWDC (Coach Mike/Coach Davian) hosted a golf clinic in partnership with the Southern MD Chapter of Jack and Jill of America "Swing Into History" golf event at historic Langston Golf Course. We're #buildinggamechangers!

The First Tee-GWDC Champions Challenge with DCPS at East Potomac Golf Links. Ten elementary school teams. Drive, Chip and Putt golf skills plus Life Skills. Congratulations to Key Elementary (1st Place), Anne Beers Elementary (2nd Place) and Hearst Elementary (3rd Place).

The Girls Golf Memorial Day was at The Perch in Tysons. In 2024, 28.1 million people played golf and 7.9 million were women and girls (28%), an all-time high. Coach Almay and her team create a friendly and comfortable environment for girls to have fun. #buildinggamechangers!

The First Tee-GWDC Spring PGA Jr League concluded at East Potomac GL. It was Team Courtesy over Team Honesty 17.5 to 17.0. Participants had lots of fun, played competitive matches, developed golf skills and made new friends! Thank you Coach Roger! We're #buildinggamechangers!

First Tee-GWDC recently teamed up with Fight For Children for community outreach at Garfield Elementary School in DC. Twenty 1st and 2nd graders were introduced to the game and took a field trip to historic Langston Golf Course to experience a real green grass golf facility.

To celebrate Women's Golf Month, First Tee-GWDC hosted a Women's Golf Clinic series at East Potomac GL. Sponsored by National Association of Realtors the clinics helped women from The Hill get introduced to the game, practice golf skills, network and have fun. #WomensGolfMonth

Several First Tee-GWDC participants attended National Golf Day activities on Capital Hill last month. Participants spoke to congressmen about how Frist Tee helps them reach their goals on and off the course. #buildinggamechangers
