Prehistoric Survival @HoltHallNorfolk this morning involved building shelters, campfires, gutting fish and then cooking & eating them! Firside Junior School really got involved in the activities.

4N Firside Junior School have had a fun afternoon exploring the rock pools at West Runton beach.

What a week for Year 4 Firside Junior School! All of the children are back safely from Holt Hall. Thank you to everyone who helped, however a special mention must go to Miss Ramsey for all her organisation and planning over the past few months - it is so appreciated!

For the Firside Junior School Year 4 children who were not at Holt Hall today, there was a special treat this morning. They were shown the EFL Championship trophy won by Norwich City FC this year. They were told about the history of the trophy & got the chance to ask questions. #OTBC

We're really looking forward to seeing this. All the best to everyone involved in the rehearsals!

Thank you to everyone who attended Prom on the pitch tonight and a huge well done to all the performers! We managed to escape the worst of the weather and it only started raining in the last few minutes! Congrats to Mrs McCash Music at Firside on organising her tenth Prom on the pitch!

In Tuesday’s Year 3 and 4 assembly Mr Keer challenged children to create a picture starting with a dot, based on the story The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. This tells the story of a pupil who thought they couldn’t draw, but was challenged by her teacher to be brave enough to try.

Any dot inspired drawings can be handed in at the office, to the class teacher or straight to Mr Keer. Here is an example of one of four pictures handed in by Charlotte from Year 4 Firside today. Thank you Charlotte!
