The Raisin Township Fire Department is excited to announce that we received our updated ISO rating and that we have improved. We went from a Class 6 to a Class 5 ISO rating.

The ISO rating is used by most insurance companies to calculate the cost of a homeowner’s insurance premium.

Every 5 years the Insurance Services Office (ISO) evaluates fire departments on several categories including communications, fire protection, preparedness, response, training, and fire prevention.
