Super excited to say that I passed my defense today. This research would not have been possible without the support & permission from SXFN, my fabulous exam committee, the @LoriDanielsUBC lab group, & my family & friends. Stay tuned for a final version of my thesis🔥🌲

It's nice when the media shows compassion for what wildland fire personnel go through for a change 🔥 Careful though, don't read the comments or you'll be disappointed again 🙄 tinyurl.com/px2aamvk

If we want to walk the talk about expanding the pace and scale of prescribed fire, we could light off fires like the #SitesFire under today's conditions and burn five to ten thousand acres at a time with pretty minimal risk to anything. Not all #GoodFire is low intensity!
