Catherine is blessed by her opposition. So much of the debate has been on the inconsequential.... Because there is little of consequence being offered. From these figures, 30% don't support any of these candidates. Imagine if there was a real debate...

Seán Ó Fearghaíl told the meeting about Charlie Haughey once bringing party colleagues to a restaurant. As he ordered food the waiter asked “what about the vegetables?” to which he replied “they’ll have what I’m having.” He said this sums up the current attitude to TDs & Senators

This is the narrowest democratic choice in a national election in Ireland in 50 years. For many its no choice at all. What are you doing about it? Dont let this happen again. Join Aontú today. aontu.ie/join-us/ rte.ie/news/president…

€1.7billion will be spent on IPAS accommodation next year by the FF/FG and Independents government. One IPAS owner has been paid €231m so far. This is obscene money and shows how broken the system is.

Taoiseach says he'll vote for Humphreys and remains coy about whether he's voted Fine Gael before. Mícheál is more FG than FG itself. Another step along the way towards the FF/FG uniparty. thejournal.ie/micheal-martin…

The government will bring forward a motion of confidence in Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Harris this afternoon, pre-empting a no-confidence motion from Aontú set for next week.  Peadar Tóibín said the move was "incredibly cynical". jrnl.ie/6844854

Scandalous findings in the Irish Times. 49% “not represented by any candidate” 55% agree with Aontú that Constitution should be changed to make nomination easier A majority agree with Aontú that Maria Steen should be on the ballot Aontú is the only party fighting for change.

Children in Mayo are waiting over 3 years for SLT. Now the Gov. is removing a vital post from CDNT3. Vacant posts mean a failure to recruit & retain, not a lack of need. After the Care ref Gov. promise was to do more for people with disabilities. This is not it.

Simon Harris is still not fit to be a minister in this government. See how your local TD’s voted here: oireachtas.ie/en/debates/vot… #aontúaccountability

We will pull every lever possible to put pressure on the government to do the right thing for children languishing in pain on scoliosis waiting lists.

The lack of generosity of spirit is astounding. In the future I would absolutely want monarchists in a UI to continue to have a link with the British monarchy if they wish.

Aontú forced a no confidence vote against Simon Harris this week. These are the parties who supported Simon Harris, and these are the ones who backed our motion.
