ACAB means even the cops in your “support group chat” lodging complaints to funding bodies, employers & apparently zio secret service. Many of the people that were silent have since said they were afraid they would get attacked too, but sat there letting others cop it?

Some people seem to be confused about this so I'll clarify: Palestinians are absolutely asking people with "israeli" citizenship to renounce it, burn their passports, and cut off contact with anyone they know who lives in and contributes to the hellhole that is the zionist entity

*screams from the rooftops* YESSSS. got dammit. not only have disability advocates been saying this but so have people who are studying abolition and criminalization. the silence from government entities on masking is very intentional. for the love of GOD 😭. wear. a. mask.

This Joshua Moshe? The one in the chat where he’s involved in trying to dox an Arab woman so she loses her job, yeah? Calling for another artist to lose work? A writer to lose opportunities? So this is what makes front page news, not the genocide or their harassment campaigns

Isn't it antisemtic - and more broadly racist - for The Australian to call a brown, Jewish person "the face of hatred" on the front page of today's paper?

Tell me you could see your baby killed in your arms by a sniper and not become completely broken. I would become a monster. I would literally transform. I would become something else. I would consume the world.

I have withdrawn an essay that was forthcoming in Meanjin later this year due to the journal's liberal editorial stance on Palestinian liberation; a garbled, hollow statement without mention of Palestine nor apartheid, among a knot of centrist non sequiturs.

Aesop's Queer Library is a beautiful program. They buy hundreds of books by queer authors and give them away to community for free. Unfortunately, Aesop was recently bought by L'Oreal, which is a gross company complicit in apartheid Israel's atrocities, and is on the BDS list.

Adelaide Writers Week starts today, as part of Adelaide Festival. Amanda Vanstone is on the board of the festival, and is programmed in the writers week. She is also a director of Lockheed Martin Australia. Why are we so comfortable with these murder merchants directing our art?

lezzbollah (@soursgettis) 's Twitter Profile Photo

i literally can’t post a single thing about a Palestine without some hideous zionist hag crawling into my mentions to openly fantasise about queer people - or me specifically- being graphically murdered and it is a very sick twisted and insidious form of homophobia

I've seen quite a few people float the idea that the "mutual" in mutual aid refers to a direct reciprocal relationship in which the helpers will later receive aid from the people they helped. I think this is a dangerous misunderstanding: mutualism refers to society as a whole.

fiddlehead finn (@fiddleheadfinn) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Reducing "mutual aid" to turn-taking transactions shuts out those most in need, including severely disabled and impoverished people. Instead, I see each act of mutual aid as planting a seeds for the society we want. If we cultivate these values, they will grow.

Watching the rich out-of-touch panel on the Project realise in real time that not everyone is rich is so bizarre Especially the part where Pingers has to explain that being in a house is safer than sleeping on the street How do they host the news with no connection to reality?

Randa Abdel-Fattah (@randaafattah) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I love this not only because it is humbling to receive such generous words and actions of support -truly it is- but because look at what we are building everyday! It is unstoppable. Practising solidarity openly is contagious. Students will see this and find more courage. Artists

suggesting the well-documented and photographed destruction of trans healthcare and research by the nazis "might've been a fever dream" is holocaust denial, and we shouldn't be afraid to say it loudly and repeatedly for fear of a billionaire's tortious reprisal
