In Shi'a books, Imam al-Sadiq (a) refutes the idea that majority of inhabitants of hell are women, basically meaning it's a lie attributed to our Prophet (s). Meanwhile such a saying is attributed to the Prophet (s) in authentic Sunni books. No wonder why people leave Islam.
