On Saturday, I was at Edinburgh Castle at the 21 gun salute to mark King Charles III’s official birthday. It was an honour to be part of the celebrations.

Popped into Kelty Community Centre to catch up with kids taking part in the ActiveEat programme. Fife Active Schools are running this with local primary schools combining sport and free food for local kids in the run up to Christmas – can highly recommend the stovies!

Depute Provost Cllr Donald Lothian was in St Andrews at the weekend to watch the annual Kate Kennedy procession. It was great to see so many people coming together and spirits clearly weren't dampened by the weather!

Covid-19 Day of Reflection, on Sunday 9 March, is a chance for us to remember those who lost their lives and to honour those who worked tirelessly during the pandemic. 2025 marks 5 years since the pandemic began and we continue to honour and remember those affected.
