All the fun of the fair! It’s a ‘bumper’ packed @ScottishSection Links Market this year! Delighted to welcome it back to Kirkcaldy and open it. If you’re planning a visit, have fun and stay safe! 👌🎠🎡

On Saturday, I was at Edinburgh Castle at the 21 gun salute to mark King Charles III’s official birthday. It was an honour to be part of the celebrations.

It's not every day you get a fire appliance named after you! This is one of three now on a 7,000 mile trip to Argentina. Thanks to everyone at International Fire and Rescue, Thornton for a brilliant day 🙏🚒

Popped into Kelty Community Centre to catch up with kids taking part in the ActiveEat programme. Fife Active Schools are running this with local primary schools combining sport and free food for local kids in the run up to Christmas – can highly recommend the stovies!

Whatever you're up to over the next few days, I hope you find time to relax and have some fun. I'm going to sign off this year by saying thanks to everyone in Fife for all that you do in, and for, your communities especially in such challenging times. All the best for 2024!

Depute Provost Cllr Donald Lothian was in St Andrews at the weekend to watch the annual Kate Kennedy procession. It was great to see so many people coming together and spirits clearly weren't dampened by the weather!

You might not think it from the second picture, but I had an amazing time at the #LinksMarket which opened yesterday in #Kirkcaldy. The dodgems are always my favourite!

Covid-19 Day of Reflection, on Sunday 9 March, is a chance for us to remember those who lost their lives and to honour those who worked tirelessly during the pandemic. 2025 marks 5 years since the pandemic began and we continue to honour and remember those affected.

It doesn't matter how many times you've been; the #Kirkcaldy #LinksMarket just keeps getting better every year! A privilege to be asked to open the 2025 Market - and the first I've rang the bell! Stay safe folks if you're heading along and have a great time!
