We’ve kicked off poetry celebration day with Andy Tooze …… he started with a poem about the super Year 6 display which was ace and a fab way of showing us the writing process in action. W

Year 1 performing the ‘10 rules in the classroom poem’ with Andy.

Year 2 performed an ace poem about 10 🍅. We then started writing our own poems based on animals. Andy chose lots of people to perform their own poetry and they were AWESOME!

Year 3 were writing and performing poems about families and anything that inspired them. Lots of them were brave and shared them with Andy and their class.

Year 5 wrote and performed poems about such diverse topics as cats, hair and hands ……but they all had the awesomeness in common,
