One of our 2nd year classes have just completed our first trail project to design, model and 3D print a range of ball bearing maze games. They look fab, well done all and just in time for Christmas stocking fillers, and even better in the Forries colours! #achieve Forrester High

Today we took a group of budding young Engineers to Edinburgh airport’s Engineering Tomorrow event. ✈️👷‍♀️ The day started off with some team building by making a chair from balloons and sellotape that could hold a pupil. #achieve Forrester High

Next up pupils were learning what makes a plane fly and what makes good plane design. So pupils took to designing and building paper planes to see who could fly the furthest, they used the windsock at the runway to help determine the best flight direction🛫#achieve Forrester High

Bridge building and testing next! 🌁 After learning about the 3 different bridge designs we have at the Firth of Forth, pupils then designed, built and stress tested their bridges to see what team had the strongest bridge 🌉 #achieve Forrester High
