Great @Devex piece by @FHI360’s Edward Oladele. As he well notes, in the epidemic's first 20 years “it was an emergency response. But we stemmed the tide. We now need to reshape the response for the long run. It's a classic case of ‘What got us here won’t get us there.’”

The #DRC is more affected by #mpox than any other African country. In response, FHI 360 staff are transporting samples for testing, training practitioners, and procuring and distributing personal protective equipment through our EpiC Project.
