Next, we have the brilliant American mathematician Gladys West. Gladys played a vital role in the creation of the GPS but sadly her contributions were not recognized for many years. #InternationalWomensDay

Last but not least, we have Sophie Germain. Sophie was determined to study maths, despite all the difficulties she faced. Her perseverance and hard work paid off and she became an incredible mathematician. #InternationalWomensDay
