Today we are holding an inception meeting for the ATC-DigitalCommunities-Uganda supported BRIDGE project with Namutumba DLG. This project will bridge the digital divide between rural and urban schools and communities in Namutumba & Amudat DLGs. LC5 Chair Mr. Mukisa David led the district.

BRIDGE: a digital inclusion project that will be piloted in Namutumba & Amudat DLGs to: · Increase incomes for smallholder farmers in digitalized value chains · Improve digital health service delivery to rural communities · Improve outcomes for learners through digital platforms.

Today we held a validation meeting for the Flood Rapid Risk assessment report with Disaster committees from Bugisu high risk districts, Mount Elgon Tree Growing Enterprise Uganda Red Cross Society and other partners Mount Elgon Hotel & SPA in preparation for floods response.
