Last year #FCFRD responded to 96,147 EMS calls. Depending on the emergency a basic life support(BLS) ambulance or advanced life support medic unit will respond. A BLS ambulance is staffed by at least 2 EMTs & equipment to aid in lifesaving & less critical injury/illness. #EMSWeek

#FairfaxsBravest are on scene of a mobile home fire in the 7800 blk of Audobon Ave in Hybla Valley area. Units arrived to fire showing. The fire is under control. The home was not occupied at the time of the fire. No reported injuries. Fire investigators are on scene.

Mental Health Awareness Month is almost over, but #FCFRD is taking steps to support our members all year long. Today members attended Fairfax County Public Safety Wellness Center’s 2nd Annual #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth Summit, promoting mental well-being among all public safety.
