Sorry to hear at the game tonight of the death of Mel ap Ior Thomas. Mel collected invaluable stats and kept records for many years. He was a great servant to Welsh football. An unsung hero.

The main consolation is that we didn’t miss out on qualification on the whim of that referee tonight.

I’m even less sure about the team tonight, but I think Brennan may start over Brooks. And Lockyer for Mepham.
