Our crews are getting the full Canadian experience with wildlife encounters like bears and moose! 🐻🦌 This trip is about hard work and dedication. They're fighting wildfires in challenging terrain, and we're so proud of their efforts. Looking forward to their safe return!

Welcome home! The first group of Victorian personnel deployed to Canada is safely back home, welcomed by friends, family and leaders. Sincere thanks to them for assisting with Canada’s wildfires. More than 40 FFMVic firefighters are still there—we eagerly await their safe return.

It can take minutes for smoke to fill a room. If you don’t have a working smoke alarm in your bedroom, you are less likely to survive a fire at night. Install smoke alarms in bedrooms. cfa.vic.gov.au/sleepfiresafe
