Wildfire smoke streaming down into the US from Canada this afternoon. Low pressure over New England also dragging that smoke in.

#ALVIN has become post-tropical just south of Baja California Sur. Meanwhile, another AOI south of Mexico has a 40% chance of development. For now, I think it stays south of Mexico with a similar fate to ALVIN with potential ridging to the north.

When you map out landfalls of an entire basin, you start noticing some very interesting coincidences. Here's the case of typhoons "BESS and TESS" who never go anywhere without each other. Over the course of decades, their landfalls map out to 3 seperate clusters right next to

A Tropical Depression is likely to form this weekend in the EPAC, with another system that may spawn on the western side of the trough. EURO and GFS highlight this possibility nicely, with 2 pieces of energy in close proximity — I wouldn’t rule out a Fujiwhara effect down the

Finally got to review the damage from this monster wedge tornado in my world. It trashed an entire mountain range. Peak width I estimated to be ~650 blocks. Absolutely loving this mod!
