I promise you. We're not paying for sponsored ads for Oh My Zsh. We're receiving reports of bad actors trying to get you to install. I promise you, we never pay for sponsored ads for Oh My Zsh itself. There are reports of malicious actors attempting to trick you into installing

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. A deep learning model developed by MIT & MGH researchers called "Sybil" can accurately predict a patient’s risk of lung cancer up to 6 years in advance by analyzing a low-dose CT scan: bit.ly/45bcHyA

🔥I'd rather pay for Anthropic Claude than have my valuable time wasted on Google AI Gemini hallucinations and errors.🔥 No offense to the fine folks at GOOG but do better please :)

Does this include criticism of my own contributions to my favourite language, when those criticisms mention me by name or, more often, profanities? 🤔

"What decides if a feature belongs in Neovim core?" - Maturity. Concepts that evolve into ecosystem "primitives", are all eventual candidates to lift into core. E.g. vim.pack, :terminal. - Leverage. E.g. vim._extui *deletes* 5k lines of code & improves UX. - Feedback loop. LSP,

M.C. Escher's artwork famously features depth-defying optical illusions. New MIT tool creates multi-dimensional representations of these "impossible objects" that users can relight, smooth, & solve geometry problems on w/o bending or cutting shapes: bit.ly/4oilDuZ

Normally I wouldn't want to belong to a club that would have me as a member, but for the PSF I'll make an exception. Thanks to the PSF, and congrats to the other Fellows! #honored

Just caved and bought a year's "Pro" subscription to Anthropic Claude. I tried switching to Google Gemini App free tier and I can't handle the error & hallucination rate. One of the use cases I see for LLMs is exploring new languages, APIs / methodologies, so that's a deal breaker.

[email protected] Dix Croix Тsфdiиg … them, while keeping track of what the last decision was and its result in the mess of conditional goto logic decisions. And almost everything is regex. It's an absolute nightmare that reminded me of TIS-100 and Shenzhen I/O. Which are both games I enjoy playing, to be fair.

signüll this will require composable tools, i.e. an OS. maybe MCP or similar can provide that, but atm it's essentially a wrapper around CLI tools and nodejs scaffolding. to go to the next level you would need a strong framework with composable UI primitives, not just generated react

all of these companies "replacing software engineers" with billions in investment every single one of them got their auth system wrong

🔥Getting REALLY disciplined about how you systematize & store information like notes is a super power. Whether it's Moleskine and pencil or Obsidian or something else, find what works for you and use it *rigorously* and *consistently*. This is an under appreciated super power.🔥
