Once again Labour Councillors stick their fingers in their ears and chant "austerity". They refuse to accept that their chronic overspending against budget undermines their ability to deliver the services residents demand.

It is increases in Cllr Allowances that are now tied to increases in the pay of council staff. Seems superficially fair but with LBH's chronic overspending are we not just rewarding financial incontinence on a grand scale #Chiswick?
