Real faith isn’t a hopeful wish. Real faith is making the decision that no matter the outcome, we’ll choose to see it as God’s perfect answer. This doesn’t mean we won’t cry and express hurt. But through the good and not so good, we will choose to trust Him. Because God is good.

When our feelings & circumstances beg us to believe that God is against us, we must recognize that as a lie from the enemy. God is for us. He is with us. And He will never leave us, no matter what happens. His love is steadfast & true even when our circumstances are crumbling.

Faith is a small word with a big meaning. My faith means… I want to be diligent but reliant on God. I want to be responsible but willing to risk for God. I want to be bold but completely humble before God. I want to run hard but be still with God. Good reminders for today.

We can run our emotions ragged trying to make sense of things that aren’t ever going to make sense.... or we can ask Jesus to show us how to move forward today. Make something beautiful. Make good from the hard stuff. Make a true investment in loving someone. Today❤️

Among Jesus' last words to His disciples in Matthew 28:18-20 was His reminder to go & make disciples. What if we let the last words of Jesus become some of the first thoughts of our day? Lord, help us recognize opportunities to share about You with others each day.

I try to remember that sometimes honoring God doesn't "feel" good in the short term but will "be" good in the long run. Are you trying to make a decision today? Instead of just weighing your options, pray about which choice honors God the most.
