London 'City Giving Day' was a huge success! We spent the day at Barings organising and packing food parcels to be delivered to families across London in conjunction with the Harris Federation. Excellent volunteer support from Barings employees to provide this essential work!

500 Food parcels are on their way to support charities, families and individuals in London this month. Barings have continued to support the Thomas Franks Foundation across 2022 and once more have helped Feeding Communities in supporting the London Community this Christmas.

Much of our FC work requires much work behind the scenes to be able to provide what we do. Whether gathering our volunteer army, organising delivery and storage, checking stock, and cooking the meals. Here is just a snippet of the hard work that has been done throughout 2022.

Our latest venture was to Bournville Primary School. With meals made by Wellington School and funded by NFU Mutual Williton and Rooksbridge. Freshly prepared nutritious meals and fresh fruit were distributed to 450 children and families at Bournville. #FeedingCommunities

The Feeding Communities team were out in the centre of Reading, serving up a nutritious hot meal for the homeless. This special pop-up builds upon the weekly hot food delivery from St Joesphs College, which has been taking place for the last year.

The Feeding Communities team was out once again in the centre of Reading as they hosted a pizza pop-up at Reading Minster Church to feed those in need of a hot meal.  Chefs Dean Collins and Paul Bannister cooked up 60 pizzas made from 100% surplus produce.
