Yesterday I got arrested whilst filming a Just Stop Oil supporter holding a banner on the pavement near the coronation route. I'm a filmmaker and had my @BECTU press accreditation visible around my neck. Police deemed this to be "conspiracy to commit a public nuisance".

So not only did Amartya Sen get a Nobel for pointing out "Hey famines don't actually come from natural food shortages, they're manmade!" but St John the Elder called it 2,000 years ago, stuck it in the main religious text for the West, and it's STILL news to most commentators

Had a great time yesterday co-presenting a joint paper with Elliot at the Uni of Birmingham's Philosophy of Religion Seminar Series. We presented our work on a demarcation model that helps distinguish sentences that express delusions from those that express religious beliefs.
