Octopath 0 is an S+ tier RPG because it does that thing where a characters generic voiceline changes for the final battle to be fitting for the moment

I couldnt help myself, I saw the credits of Octopath 0 and immediately recorded a script for a review. I havent done one of these since Shining Force but I just loved this game so much I'm already going to force it down as many throats as possible

Fire Emblem Fates is weirdly good at making likably unlikable people. Azama, Saizo, Charlotte, Niles, Jakob are all varying levels of asshole but they're all still enjoyable and I don't know how they do it

I have gotten the true ending of Octopath 0, and man, these games mean something to me. Even in what is, IMO, the weakest cast of the three games, I got misty eyed saying goodbye to all of them in the epilogue. I swear these games are some of Square's best.
