What a busy but great weekend for FDR XC/TF at Ocean Breeze. Congrats to our medalists: Ajani Barnes in soph long jump, Dafina Berisha in weight throw, Olivia Peek in racewalk, and Marina Scott in the soph 400 and 200. Marina also broke her own FDR school record in the 200!

It was a great night for FDR XC/TF at the Armory for the Section 9 State Qualifier. Huge shoutout and congratulations to Lawrence Joyner and Marina Scott who broke school records in the 300m and qualified for the NY State Track & Field Championships!

MHAL Champs! It was a long night and a ton of hard work but a total team effort led to both the boys and girls FDR Track & Field teams winning the 2024 MHAL Championship. What a night! Hard work pays off!

Big day at the Section 9 Championships for FDR! Silver medalists were Noah Tarkos in high jump, and Marina Scott in the 400. Congrats to Aidan Ferragine, the Section 9 champ in Steeplechase and Edgar Quinonez who is the Section 9 champ in Discus breaking the FDR school record!

OH MY GOODNESS WHAT A RACE! IN A PHOTO FINISH, it's world champion Noah Lyles 🇺🇸 that grabs the first Olympic gold medal of his career in 9.79. Just five-THOUSANDTHS of a second separated Lyles and Kishane Thompson 🇯🇲 in silver position. Fred Kerley 🇺🇸 was just .02 seconds

Saturdays are for Cross Country! Lots of personal bests against great competition today at the Mount Academy Invitational. Hard work is starting to pay off for the squad!

Another great Saturday of Cross Country! This time, the squad traveled to Bear Mountain for the Suffern Invitational. Congrats on a fantastic day!

It was rainy, it was chilly. But FDR XC had the best time at the NY State Nighttime Showcase! What’s better than a Cross Country race? How about a Cross Country race at night?!! Our squad had a blast!

FDR Cross Country had a great day in the City competing at the Manhattan Invitational! Tons of medals and personal bests!
