Continuing our #FDRS2025 awards! 🏆 A huge congratulations to Dr. Maria Bampasidou, Research Associate Professor at Texas A&M University, for receiving the Patrick J. Byrne Emerging Leadership Award! A fantastic recognition of her growing leadership in our field.

Congratulations to Catalina Clouthier from UniversityOfArkansas on winning the 2025 FDRS Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award! Her research explored "Consumer Preferences for Food Waste Reduction Technologies in Apples." (Advisor: Dr. Nathan Kemper).

Continuing our #FDRS2025 student awards! A huge congratulations to Anam Ali from Purdue University, winner of the Richardson-Applebaum Scholarship Award (M.S. Thesis)! Her timely thesis was on the "Acceptability of Gene-Edited Orange Juice" (Advisor: Dr. Valerie Kilders).

Congratulations to Logan Moss (UniversityOfArkansas ) on winning the Richardson-Applebaum Scholarship Award (M.S. Case Study)! His important work focused on "Consumer Willingness to Pay for Food Products Displaying a Black-Owned Label." (Advisor: Dr. Brandon McFadden).

Our final student award honor goes to Dr. Tina Kotsakou from Cal Poly! She is the winner of the Richardson-Applebaum Scholarship Award (Ph.D. Dissertation) for her work on the "Demand for Plant-Based Meat." (Advisor: Dr. Richard J. Sexton). A huge congratulations! #FDRS2025
