A Historic Recognition  In 2021, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi acquired three sculptures by the Lebanese modernist Alfred Basbous, marking a landmark moment in the region’s cultural narrative. This acquisition is more than a milestone — it's a testament to Basbous’ enduring legacy.

We are delighted that Mark Hachem Gallery (Paris – New York – Beirut) presented selected works of Alfred Basbous at Art Dubai 2025, its 18th edition, which included a total of eight sculptures spanning abstraction, minimal abstraction, figurative and expressive works.
