"While our society is busy wondering and theorizing about what children need most, nature simply holds a space for the child to discover that for themselves." - Nicolette Sowder RT Neurochild

Dads encourage your children to do things for themselves. Teach them to think independently and solve their own problems. By doing this you will help them become confident, capable, and independent individuals who believe deeply in their own abilities.

Kindness and generosity go a long way to true happiness. Always be kind and generous with your time and attention with your family and loved ones. After all true happiness only comes from the sharing of experiences with those that matter most to us.

The secret to a happy marriage is not expecting or striving for perfection. It’s having the ability to look beyond the imperfections and being truly grateful for what you have and who you get to share the journey with.#gratitude #love

Let your children know that showing their emotions is ok. This will allow them to express themselves fully, learn to self regulate and will in turn help them manage their stress and anxiety levels as well as set them up to become emotionally stable adults.

Dads it’s ok to show your emotions. Showing your emotions and openly talking about your feelings, is an effective strategy in showing your son that it is normal for boys to have feelings. This will encourage your son to openly talk about their own thoughts and feelings too.

Show your child unconditional love for who they really are. Embrace and cherish every aspect of their character and personality because they are your child. Don’t love the person you want them to be, to then be disappointed because they don’t match up to your ideals.

Don’t just tell your wife and kids that you love them. Show them, be present and undivided with your attention. When you get home from work, hold them close and take the time to ask about their day.

When your children see their parents respecting each other, they are more likely to feel that they are also accepted and respected by you. Always show your child’s mother respect and humility no matter the relationship you have with them.

Remember that being a good father is an ongoing journey, and no one is perfect. What matters most is your love, dedication, and commitment to being the best parent you can be.
